Fiddle Stix

Grades 1-2 / Co-Ed

Our Fiddle Stix program is designed to teach our youngest players basic lacrosse skills in a fun, safe environment. Skill work is combined with scrimmage games, which are played between within same team. 6-8 players at a time (no goalie) play on a small field with goals. "Fiddle Sticks" (small lacrosse sticks) are provided for all players and are theirs to keep. Fiddle Stix is a non-contact sport and soft balls are used so no protective equipment is needed. It is a tradition to end every practice with donuts.

Our Tualatin High School players, girls and boys, run the drills for Fiddle Stix. We have a certified youth coach on the field at all times. We have found our Fiddle Stix players respond well in small groups lead by our experienced High School players.
